“Nic & Nere” enters the 2nd year

Monday 14 December 2015

Just over a year ago we met two energetic and creative young graduates with a very good idea and the hunger to turn it into a business.

To cut the story short we have invested considerable time and a little money and have created a brand, Nic & Nere Apparel and have made sales: 2016 is now a big year and the fuller story can be found at www.nicandnereapparel.com

The rocky road

Friday 19 June 2015

At last, in the Summer of 2015, Nic & Nere Apparel is being launched!

A Festival Brand , initially based on a unique designer-led 2 in 1 waterproof onesie imagined and created by two truly energetic and talented graduates from UEL. The rocky road of the title refers to the inevitable (and occasionally downright unexpected)  ups and downs of launching something innovative and new with guiding principles of UK supply, UK Manufacture and of course money!

The new brand can be found at www.nicandnereapparel.com

Old Salesians Alumni

Tuesday 31 March 2015

A fantastic relaunch event was held at the Oval on February 20th with almost 100 people in attendance.

The culmination of lots of hard work by many people in just a month or two, including website development, database building, recruitment and Social Media activity, the event was a real success.

Festival Fun

Sunday 1 February 2015

A brand new business which we have been working alongside for a year will come to the market in a matter of months.

Drysie Apparel is a fashion brand formed by two students from UEL who saw a gap in the market for a totally fashionable, unique, “2 in 1” water-resistant onesie aimed at the nation’s dedicated festival goers.

A great idea and one that supports young people and UK workers as everything is their idea and will be produced here in the UK.

Look out for the brand new www.drysieapparel.co.uk website at the very beginning of April

Old Salesians Association Farnborough

Friday 9 January 2015

We are working very hard on re-launching this Alumni Group with a brand new website already up and running and a Launch Event at the Oval on February 20th.

As with all Alumni organisations, developing a reliable and useful database is essential so that communication is widespread and meaningful. Social Media really comes into its own at times like this!

Keeping busy in the Autumn

Thursday 7 November 2013

Always a busy time this period between September and the Christmas period: Lot’s of graduations, including Kingston and UEL with thundreds of associated despatches; really interesting times with the burgeoning Tracksure business with exhibitions in Australia and plenty of PR activity; plus maybe looking for some new premises!

“Independently minded”

Sunday 3 November 2013

Let’s hope our little advert in the Saturday Independent (Saturday 9th/16th/23rd November) proves to be valuable!

From a marketing point of view this is a “test exercise” and it will be intriguing to measure the response and, hopefully, to talk to one or two new businesses.
